I am sure all of you have heard that song "We Danced" by Brad Paisley. Tonight was my company Christmas party at 50 yard line. I sat by the guy that I don't like at work and it was quiet, awkward, and the food just wasn't that good. After the party Christopher and I came home and I turned on the TV and one of the thousands of Christmas movies was on. It was a time in the movie were there was no one talking they were just playing a Christmas song. It was kinda like turning on the radio and I grabbed Christopher's hand and we danced. We just slowly danced to the Christmas music and he said we needed to practice before the wedding. It was the sweetest moment just dancing in the middle of the living room with no one else around. I really love the quality alone time that I get to spend with my future husband.
ps... sorry about this turning into a normal journal blog, I will get back to the wedding stuff shortly but I have discovered I have another thing in common with my mother and I like to just blog about my life and stuff....

Christmas Cheer!
I thought I would share some of the things that are bringing me joy this holiday season.... my babies!!!!!! I tried really hard to get a good picture of me and them in front of the tree but trying to tame two wild animals can be difficult. I used treats to lure them into sitting and being good boys(hence duke's slober)! The bright lights of the camera hurts his eyes!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!
First of off, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!! I am 22 years old today! Yikes, already 22, this last year has really flew by. I had a wonderful birthday this year. Christopher woke me up at like 7:30 and he had made me the sweetest card. It was so sweet and romantic. I went back to bed and didn't wake up again until 10. I love sleeping in! I had to go to work at 2:30 but after work I went to dinner. We went to Logan's, with my parents and Christopher's parents. It was really a lovely dinner. I really enjoy my in-laws! They are so sweet and I am so glad that my parents get along so well with them! Overall, great birthday! I stole some pictures from my mom of graduation. I just wanted to share some of the pictures from graduation.

3 DAYS!!!! YIKES
One of my most amazing experiences at Tech was getting to share it with my best friend. Christopher is my best friend, fiance, study buddy, partner in crime and so much more! Having him by my side has made my time at Texas Tech so much better! He has helped and mentored me when times got bad and for that I will forever be thankful. I am just so lucky to have such an amazing man on my arm! I am so excited about having him become my husband!

7 days!
Today's post is dedicated to New Friends Made and Old Friends Maintained. I have really enjoyed my time at Tech because some of the most amazing friends I have made and some great ones that have been around forever.

Cristina Maqueda.... fantastic!!!! I met Cristi about a year and a half ago during a fun summer of Organic Chemistry. From there it's history. We immediately bonded over the nerdy science things we had in common. She is graduating this semester as well and I am so glad to have a friend like her to share this with. She is also getting married so we have so much stuff to share and work on together. She is attending med school at Tech next year and I am so incredibly proud of her and her accomplishments. I am so happy and lucky to have met this amazing girl!

10 DAYS!
So today was my last day of class as a college student. How sad is that! I still have finals but as far as class does, I am done! I am so nervous and excited at the same time. I am soon to make a new transition in my life and that could bring all sorts of new and exciting things. But at the same time, change is always scary and different. All I can do is let the change happen and embrace all the new and exciting things it might bring.

11 Days!
Sorry I have taken a break from my blogging. The holiday treated me very well and I have been super busy! Today I just want to share some of the senior pictures that Brandi took and some of the pictures I've taken throughout the holiday!

One of my best friends from high school came into town for Thanksgiving so we went out! I had so much fun and it was just like high school all over again!
